Schaffhausen
In Schaffhausen, an autonomously driving bus operates as a pilot project and can be ridden free of charge. The bus has room for five people and travels at a maximum of 30 km/h along a fixed programmed route. On board there is a voice assistant that can answer questions, for example about the weather or telling jokes. The STL 13 line runs a small loop with four stops through a neighbourhood in Schaffhausen. A human assistant is on board and gives the bus the signal to depart; otherwise it drives on its own.
