Lorelei Islands – bathing paradise in the Reuss delta in Uri
The Lorelei Islands in the Reuss delta in Uri are a unique bathing paradise in the middle of nature. The three artificially created islands lie between Seedorf and Flüelen in Lake Lucerne and can only be reached by swimming. With turquoise-blue water, sandy beaches and flat rocks, the place almost has a Caribbean feel – surrounded by a protected nature area with an impressive mountain backdrop. Barbecue spots, walking paths and quiet bathing places make the Lorelei one of the loveliest summer destinations in Uri.
