Bathing lakes in the Seebachtal

The Seebachtal between Hüttwilen and Nussbaumen is one of the most beautiful natural paradises in eastern Switzerland and is still barely known even to many Swiss. The idyllic landscape with the Nussbaumersee, Hüttwilersee and Hasensee offers crystal-clear water, quiet bathing spots and a unique natural setting. The Nussbaumersee is especially popular for its hidden bathing coves, barbecue areas and shady places right by the water. Unlike many well-known lidos, access is free and the atmosphere is considerably calmer. The entire area is a nature reserve and is ideal for a day trip combining swimming, picnicking and walks.
