Balmberg

Bus line number 12 departs from Solothurn railway station, bay B, and travels leisurely up to the Balmberg. During the ride there are views of the town of Solothurn as well as of the Balmfluh and its rocky ruins. Directly below the Balmberg, in Bann, there are already fine hiking opportunities before the route continues as a mountain postal road. Once at the Oberbalmberg, visitors can pet alpacas during alpaca trekking or hike with them, and there is also a large rope park.
