Basel Tattoo is an open-air music spectacle held every year in July. Performers include the Rangerettes from Texas with their dance routines, the world-famous Top Secret Drum Corps and over 100 bagpipers, among them the Swiss Highlanders. The Swiss military music and the Royal Chili Pipers, the royal guard of the UK players, also perform. Visitors with a larger budget can book a skybox with a particularly good view for 450 francs. Tickets are available through the official website.
