The Federal Charters Museum houses the original federal charters, including the legendary document from 1291, whose authenticity is doubted by some. In the entrance hall, paintings of historical events such as the Battle of Morgarten and the Rütli Oath are on display. General Guisan, the last general of Switzerland, is also featured. Admission costs 5 francs per person and the museum is barrier-free accessible.
