Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge

The Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge is located in Valais and is just under 500 metres long. It spans a height of 85 metres and sways noticeably. The starting point of the hike is Randa at 1400 metres above sea level, from where around 600 metres of ascent have to be covered in about 2 hours. Towards the end, the bridge rises slightly and has a curve. A pedestrian needs around 5 minutes just to cross the bridge.
