The most spectacular ice path
The Madulain – Zuoz ice path is a roughly 2.5-kilometre natural ice track running along the bank of the Inn between the Engadine villages of Madulain and Zuoz. While skating, you move through a quiet floodplain landscape with views of snow-covered mountains, historic Engadine houses and the river flowing past.
The track is prepared each winter and is considered one of the finest outdoor ice-skating experiences in the region.
What makes the ice path special is the combination of movement on natural ice, the wide-open landscape and the relaxed atmosphere far from conventional ice rinks.
