Leisure activities on Monte Tamaro

Monte Tamaro is one of the most versatile excursion mountains in Ticino and offers numerous leisure options all year round. In summer, the spectacular zipline, the fast Coaster Bob toboggan run, the adventure park with its rope courses, hikes and breathtaking viewpoints are the main attractions. The hike to the summit at 1,962 metres above sea level, with its fantastic 360° panorama over the Ticino lakes and the Alps, is particularly popular. Since the end of 2025, Monte Tamaro has also been partially open again in winter. Winter hikes, snowshoe tours and the famous Santa Maria degli Angeli church by Mario Botta then invite visitors to come and explore.
