The Gelmerbahn covers about 450 metres of elevation gain over a route of around 900 m. The ride takes about 10 minutes at a speed of 2 m per second. Between 300 m and 355 m along the route, the railway reaches a gradient of 106 %, corresponding to an inclination angle of 47.8°. During the ride, a view opens up between the rocks.
