GForce Simulator Dallenwil

In Dallenwil stands Switzerland's only GForce simulator, which is actually meant to prepare paragliding pilots for the G-forces of an extreme downward spiral. Ordinary visitors can also try out the simulator and trigger the rotation themselves. During the rotation, the gaze must be directed at a coloured disc in order to have a fixed point and to avoid nausea. The colours of the disc indicate when you are entering a so-called greyout, in which you only see grey tones. As a countermeasure, pressure breathing or muscle tensing is then used to make the greyout disappear again.
