Portalban beach on Lake Neuchâtel
The Plage de Portalban is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Switzerland and is often described as a little piece of the sea in the middle of the Three-Lakes region. The wide sandy beach on the southern shore of Lake Neuchâtel offers shallow water, a large lawn for sunbathing and a wonderful view over the lake. Families in particular appreciate the free access, the warm water in summer and the many leisure options. On site there is beach volleyball, picnic areas, play facilities for children as well as restaurants directly on the lakeshore.
