Gütschbahn

Despite its name, the Gütschbahn is actually a lift and not a classic funicular. The ride lasts only around 30 seconds and goes straight up to the Château Gütsch. On the way, the cabin passes the other Gütschbahn cabin. With the GA travelcard the ride is free; without a GA it costs 2.60 francs per trip. The surrounding area is currently considered a danger zone, as the Gütschberg is threatened by a rockfall, but the lift continues to operate.
