Through the mountain on Lake Lucerne
The Harderband experience tunnel is a special hiking and viewing tunnel on Lake Lucerne in the canton of Uri. The former railway tunnel was converted into an adventure trail and today combines nature, history and spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. During the walk, light installations, window openings and information panels provide a varied experience. Particularly impressive is the peaceful atmosphere right against the rock face above Lake Lucerne. The tunnel is ideal for a short outing or as part of a hike along the path between Bauen and Seedorf.
