House of Beads

At the House of Beads in Zurich, you can put together your own jewellery from a large selection of individual stones in various colours and shapes. The stones are labelled with their name and price, so everyone can work within their own budget, from inexpensive stones to more costly ones such as amber or real pearls. The individual pieces can be chosen in the shop and assembled there or at home, with the staff helping with the selection and measuring. The finished piece of jewellery is knotted and packed in a little pouch. There is only limited space in the shop; for a small chain, the cost of the individual pieces can start at around 13 francs.
