On this guided tour starting from the Sedrun valley station, an experienced crystal hunter leads the way into the mountains of the Surselva. After the ride up to the mountain station, a 15-minute walk leads to a hut, where the tools are handed out and the participants are given instructions. This is followed by a roughly one-hour hike to the starting point of the search, which is why good fitness is required. The aim is to follow quartz veins, find crystal fissures and dig down to the bedrock, as rock crystals are usually found at the deepest point of the quartz vein. Food and hiking equipment must be brought along by the participants themselves.
