Matterhorn Glacier Paradise

The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise is considered Europe's highest mountain station. Access is by a 3S cable car gondola from Trockener Steg at around 2900 metres above sea level up to about 3800 metres. From the top station, the route leads down into the glacier, where a walk-in glacier crevasse with ice sculptures and a slide in the ice can be found. At this altitude, the thin air can become noticeable.
