The mountain carts on the Marbachegg are among the coolest summer adventures in the Entlebuch. Instead of asphalt, special three- and four-wheeled mountain carts race down a purpose-built wooden track right through the alpine pastures of the Marbachegg. The route combines fast corners, steep sections and nature experience into unique driving fun for young and old.
The special part: after each descent there is no need to walk back up. A surface lift comfortably takes riders and carts back to the starting point, so the run can be repeated as often as desired while enjoying the fantastic view of the Schrattenfluh, the Bernese Alps and the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch.
The mountain carts are ideal for families, groups and adventure seekers. Combination tickets including the gondola ride up to the Marbachegg are especially popular. The outing can thus be perfectly combined with a hike, a visit to the mountain restaurant or a ride on the nearby flow trail. Children aged 11 and over may drive themselves, younger children can ride along accompanied by an adult.
