Experiencing music automatons

The Museum of Music Automatons in Seewen houses one of the world's largest collections of Swiss music boxes and mechanical music automatons. Visitors can experience self-playing pianos, orchestrions, barrel organs and historical music machines, some of them several centuries old and still working today.
Particularly impressive is the mixture of precision mechanics, nostalgic sounds and interactive guided tours during which many of the automatons are played live.
The quiet setting in the Jura as well as the combination of technology, music history and an almost magical atmosphere make the museum a unique experience in Switzerland.
