Old Swiss House

The Old Swiss House is a rustic, traditional Swiss restaurant in Lucerne that has been preparing schnitzel for over 80 years. At 59 francs per person, the schnitzel is first presented at the table and then breaded in egg yolk and breadcrumbs directly in front of the guests. It is then fried to a golden brown in a copper pan with butter. The schnitzel is served with noodles, lemon and lingonberry sauce. Around 1400 of these schnitzels are ordered every month.
