Pouletburg

The Pouletburg is located in Attinghausen and is part of the Burghotel, which represents an important piece of Swiss national history. The restaurant is furnished in the style of a castle, with knights' armour, coats of arms and numerous stories. The highlight is the "Poulet im Chörbli" (chicken in a little basket) for 22 francs, served with a creamy, buttery house sauce, either with chicken wings or half a chicken. It comes with half a pickled gherkin, tomatoes and salad, and everything is eaten with the hands. For two people, 66 francs were paid.
