Rüeblimäärt Aarau

The Rüeblimärt in Aarau is Switzerland's largest and best-known carrot market. Every year, Aarau's old town turns into a colourful market bustling around the popular root vegetable. More than 100 stalls offer carrots in all colours and shapes, regional specialities, arts and crafts as well as creative products all about the «Rüebli» (carrot). Visitors experience a unique mix of tradition, culinary delights and a festive atmosphere. The Rüeblimärt attracts tens of thousands of guests from all over Switzerland each year and is regarded as a landmark of the town of Aarau.
