On a guided tour through the Bex mine, a mine train takes visitors about 10 minutes into the mountain. After an introductory film, the tour continues into the mine carved out by hand, where salt deposits on the ceiling and a saline spring can be seen. Other chambers are used to store cheese, beer and miso, and the cheese can be tasted. Up on the surface there is a restaurant with a brunch offering as well as a shop with various salt products, bath salts to mix yourself, and a food truck serving crêpes and fries.
