Bathing in sulphur for free

The healing and sulphur spring of Luchsingen is a historic spring above Luchsingen that has been used for bathing and drinking cures since the 16th century. Today it is reached via a short hiking trail with information boards providing insights into the geology, history and effects of the sulphur water.
On site, the mineral-rich water can be seen, smelled and even experienced in a simple bathtub, while picnic areas and fireplaces invite visitors to linger.
What makes the spring special is the combination of nature experience, cultural history and the quiet setting in the wooded gorge, which makes the place a little insider tip in the Glarnerland.
