The descent starts at Europe's highest mountain lift station on the Klein Matterhorn at 3800 metres and leads across a glacier where skiing is possible even in summer. Along the way, crevasses must be watched out for and the weather can change quickly, so that dense fog may occur. From the route it is possible to continue on to Italy or to carry on with the descent towards Zermatt. With the Ski Movie, a timed race can be skied, with the result stored directly on the ski pass. The valley run down to Zermatt follows a black piste with views of the Matterhorn and covers more than 2000 metres of vertical drop in total.
