Smilestones is Switzerland's largest indoor miniature world and impresses with lovingly detailed landscapes, moving trains, cars, cable cars and countless hidden scenes at a scale of 1:87. Visitors discover well-known Swiss landmarks such as the Rhine Falls, the Alpstein region, the Bernese Oberland or picturesque old towns in a fascinating miniature world. The layout resembles a huge three-dimensional search-and-find picture, with new surprises waiting around every corner.
In 2026, Smilestones was ceremonially reopened at its new location in the Rhyfall Village in Neuhausen am Rheinfall. Following an elaborate move, the layout is now housed in modern, light-flooded premises and offers even more space for future expansions. Visitors experience over 1,300 metres of model railway tracks, imposing mountain landscapes, numerous moving figures as well as more than 50 interactive buttons that allow scenes to be activated by the visitors themselves.
The hidden details and humorous everyday scenes are particularly popular. Children and adults can set off on a journey of discovery together and keep finding something new. Thanks to the location right by the Rhine Falls, a visit can be ideally combined with an excursion to Europe's largest waterfall.
