Stoosbahn

The Stoosbahn is regarded as the steepest funicular in the world, with a maximum gradient of 110%. The ride starts at the station, crosses a river with emerald-green water, passes through several tunnels and meets the oncoming car along the way. With the GA Travelcard, the ride up to Stoos is free. During the journey, a gradient indicator inside the car automatically shows the current incline. The top station is located on Stoos.
