The Sunday Zmorge (breakfast) on the Albishorn is one of the finest breakfast experiences around Zurich. High above the Sihlwald at 909 metres above sea level, visitors enjoy not only a generous breakfast buffet, but also an impressive view of Lake Zurich, the Säuliamt and, in clear weather, all the way to the Alps. The Bergrestaurant Albishorn can only be reached on foot, so the walk to breakfast is already part of the experience.
Every Sunday from 09:00 to 11:00, an extensive Zmorge buffet with regional products is served. Two hot drinks are included in the price. The combination of a leisurely hike followed by breakfast on the sun terrace is especially popular. Reservations are recommended, as the Sunday Zmorge is regularly fully booked.
The Albishorn is also a popular starting point for hikes through the Wildnispark Zürich and along the Albis ridge. Anyone looking for a little more exercise after breakfast will find numerous scenic hiking trails right on the doorstep. The relaxed atmosphere, the warm hospitality and the unique location make the Sunday Zmorge a real insider tip for couples, families and day trippers.
