SUP Polo on Lake Thun

In SUP Polo, ideally two teams of four players each compete against one another, using a specially developed board as well as a paddle with a hole in it. Players may check each other and throw one another off the board, simply falling into the water, which makes the sport fair and safe. Shots are taken from the board, sometimes even while jumping, while opponents try to knock the ball away with the stick. Since the boards can travel in both directions, players can turn around directly on the board and carry on. The water is not deep, so it is easy to stand on the bottom, which makes the game an event for families at the weekend.
