Susten Pass

The Susten Pass connects the Bernese Oberland with the canton of Uri and was ridden on a moped (Töffli). The route offers views of the surrounding mountains and leads down towards Wassen, with a view of the well-known little church of Wassen as well as the Gotthard traffic jam. At the end of the roughly 70-kilometre tour, Altdorf is reached, where the night is spent in the 500-year-old hotel zum Schwarzen Löwen, where Goethe once stayed as well.
