Spectacular views over Fribourg
The tower of St Nicholas Cathedral in Fribourg is a popular vantage point in the middle of the historic old town. A narrow spiral staircase with around 365 steps leads up to a height of about 74 metres, where visitors are rewarded with a spectacular panorama over the city and the Fribourg Prealps.
At the top, panoramic panels also provide information about the landscape, the history and local features of the region.
