Via Ferrata Mürren

The Via Ferrata Mürren is considered one of the most spectacular via ferratas in Switzerland and runs along the rock face at a height of around 300 metres. Mürren can be reached by train from Stechelberg; the return trip costs 12 francs with a half-fare travelcard. On site, via ferrata equipment can be rented at Intersport for 30 francs. The route leads through a tunnel, past half-caves, to exposed viewpoints that also serve as launch platforms for wingsuit and base jumpers. Highlights include an overhanging ladder with views into the Lauterbrunnen valley as well as several suspension bridges.
