VR training facility of the Stadtpolizei Zürich

At the Stadtpolizei Zürich, operational situations can be trained in a virtual reality with full-body tracking. Mistakes in movement lead, via impulse suits, to noticeable feedback in the form of a slight electric shock or a vibration. Various pieces of equipment such as pepper spray, taser and handcuffs are practised, as well as tactical behaviour in scenarios such as a Christmas market or a house search. Each exercise is followed by a debriefing, in which the recordings are evaluated from different perspectives. The VR training can also be experienced at the stand of the Stadtpolizei Zürich at the Zürich Popcon und Gameshow on 26 September in Hall 3 of the Messe Zürich.
