Werdenberg

Werdenberg has only around 60 inhabitants and consists of three lanes running through the tiny town. In 1352 the town was expressly granted town rights for the first time. Walking all the way through the little town, from the Vorderstädtchen to the Hinterstädtchen, takes only about 70 seconds. On the market square stands the so-called Schlangenhaus (snake house), whose ornaments actually depict lindworms (dragons).
